the-chemistry-of-gazes asked: I actually have a tablet :) I don't like the feeling of drawing on it though, but if you're worried about not being able to draw all that good on it, it really isn't that different. You basically need a day or two of practice and from then on it's like you never made a transition from traditional to digital. I think you should definitely give it a go.
scarletfame asked: Have you considered digital painting? Tablets are cheaper than good painting supplies and come Wacom tablets bundled with starter software. Also, no drying time, no mess, and an undo button.

ughhh i know, it seems like it would be easier in some ways because you see everything you want to see, not just what a certain picture shows you, but i think the whole turning something 3d into 2d is harder that i imagined it would be, especially in faces. ughh i’m definitely going to work on it though, thanks for the advice :)

amyystoberr asked: You should try referencing life. Having references isn't bad as long as it's not from a photograph or something. Look at life and train yourself to interpret it in your own way. Look in the mirror and practice some self portraits. You're your own best model ! :)
